Privacy Statement

At Valley Bank & Trust, the basis of each customer relationship is trust. You have chosen to do business with us, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care.   3. Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies, credit references, employers, insurance companies, and insurance agencies to enable us to verify credit worthiness, employment history, and that insurance coverage is in place when necessary.

DISCLOSURE OF ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Valley Bank & Trust may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to financial service providers, such as investment and securities representatives, insurance agents, trust officers and mortgage bankers who are our affiliates. An affiliate is any company we own or control, any company that owns or controls us, or any company related to us by common control. This definition includes both financial institutions and entities that are not financial institutions. Valley Bank & Trust does not reveal specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information with reputable consumer reporting agencies unless 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer initiated transaction; 2) the customer requests or permits it; 3) the disclosure is required by law. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

It is Valley Bank & Trust policy that customer information is not to be provided to anyone over the telephone unless we are able to determine that you are the person requesting the information

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Valley Bank & Trust endeavors to maintain the most accurate and up-to-date customer records possible. Should you believe that our records are incomplete or inaccurate, please notify us. Your account corrections will be made as soon as possible.

INFORMATION SECURITY PROCEDURES

Valley Bank & Trust restricts access to personally identifiable customer information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees are trained on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and employees who violate these standards are subject to disciplinary measures. Additionally, Valley Bank & Trust maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulatory and industry standards to guard your information.

DEALINGS WITH THIRD PARTIES

When the bank conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them.
